  since leaving the org i've put the magik back into life.

  the small things that keep my inner child in a state of wonderment.

  Are you having a Christmas Tree?

  i love christmas, i don't know if i am going to have a christmas tree this year.

  most of my family live in kentucky.. i love decorating the christmas tree.

  i have a ten month old cat that gets into everything, eats everything.

  Thank you Barbie, we love all the pictures you have posted. There were a lot of years we wanted to have a tree but were afraid to push the issue. It is amazing how healing it is to have something normal like Christmas.
  
  We have 5 cats and have had three trees so far without any dire consequences. We put unbreakable ornaments on the bottom branches and it's a good idea to not have tinsel around cats. I have a friend whose kitten is very active and likes to break any glass balls it can reach so next year she is going to have all unbreakable ornaments.

  My daughters and I put up our Yule tree yesterday.
  
  My JW husband had a fit last year but hasn't said one bad word this year. We started out by putting a few other decorations out and just finished decorating last night.
  
  By "finished decorating", I mean we put out all the ornaments and lights we already had from last year, I'm sure that we will find more that we want this year.

  Yes I know that not very many people liked me. I've omly been to the memorial this year and only one sister talked to me, not one Elder or MS even smiled at me, much less said hello.
  
  I am naturally shy, developed anxiety and panic attacks from the pressure people put on me to answer, go in service and be on the school.
  I think they honestly didn't know what to do with me because I was so non conforming to their set way of doing things.
  There were 4 people over time that I believe really tried to understand and who I considered dear friends.

  i read a book a few years back entitled white moguls, which looked at the british rule in india.

  apparently, quite a few upper class englishmen ended up going native in india, and ended up not only with great wealth and power, but also with their own harems.

  it seems to me that they had great lives!

  I know some people who, how do I say this, have a three way relationship- a husband and wife and another man who are all in love with each other. They have been together for three years now. Works for them. I might consider having another husband but I would never, ever put up with another woman in a relationship. Ever.

  Did Your District Conventions Have A Meat Market?

  i was recently thinking back upon some of my unusual memories of being in the organization.

  one of them was of the dodger stadium "meat market".. we used to attend our district conventions at dodger stadium in los angeles.

  for those of you who arent familiar with the stadium, dodger stadium has a very large level with blue seats - which is the largest level within the stadium.

  i thought after recently reading the bible i would put up for disussion some recent scriptures up which for me show that jesus never viewed himself as god and anyone listening would also see it this way too.. first mark 10 :17-20.
